The annual conference organized by the Union of Polish Distilleries was held in Strykow on June 14, 2024. The meeting focused on the current status and prospects for sustainable development of agricultural distilleries in Poland.
The Conference was also attended by the CEO of the Polish Biomethane Association, Marek Pituła, who gave a presentation: "The synergy effect between bioethanol installations and RES installations for the production of biogas, electricity from biogas or bioethanol - in the economic conditions of Poland 2024". Among other things, the PBA CEO spoke about bioethanol production, distillery decoction and the currently observed increase in demand for renewable fuels.
The Conference was also attended by Prof. Dr. Adam Kupczyk from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Prof. Anna Grosser, Ph.D. and Prof. Ewa Neczaj, Ph.D., from the Częstochowa University of Technology, Ms. Aleksandra Łukomska from Dynamic Biogas, and Michał Kocoń, M.Sc. from Bussines Developer Energy Efficiency STX Commodities.
